Dry naturally
If sheepskin gets damp, let it air dry at room temperature. Avoid radiators, dryers, fireplaces, or direct heat.
Heat can make natural materials stiff and can change the feel of the wool.
Brush lightly
After drying, a light brushing can help lift the wool again. Use a gentle hand and avoid pulling hard at the fibers.
This is especially useful for rugs, collars, and areas that get regular contact.
Spot clean first
For small marks, start with a light spot clean and a soft cloth. Avoid soaking the whole piece unless the care label says it is appropriate.
The goal is to clean carefully while preserving the natural texture.
